Go to Settings → Appearance and tap Dark. Or tap Automatic, and the app follows your phone: dark when your phone is in dark mode, light when it isn’t.

Switch to dark mode in the app
- On Home, tap your profile picture at the top to open Settings.
- Under Preferences, tap Appearance.
- Tap Automatic, Light or Dark, then tap Done.
The app changes the moment you tap, so you can try each one before you close the sheet. Each card shows a small picture of the app in that look.
Switch to dark mode on the website
- Open Settings on ayyam.com and click Appearance.
- Click Dark or Light.
Until you pick one, the website follows your computer or phone. Once you pick, it stays that way in that browser. The same page has Accent, the colour used for likes, badges, links and the send button.
Good to know
- In the app, Automatic is the setting until you change it.
- The look is kept on this phone, or in this browser on the website, not on your account.
