A paid view is someone else watching one of your original videos for 3 seconds or more. Each person counts once per video per day, however many times they watch it.
What counts
- A video you posted yourself. Only videos earn.
- Watched for at least 3 seconds, in the app or on ayyam.com.
- By someone signed in to Ayyam.
- Once per person, per video, per day. If the same person watches the same video again tomorrow, that’s another paid view.
What doesn’t count
- Your own views.
- Reposts: nobody is paid for a repost, not you and not the original creator.
- Photos and text posts.
- Watches shorter than 3 seconds, like scrolling past.
- Views from people who aren’t signed in.
- Views from before the day you joined Earnings.
How the money is worked out
Each night Ayyam counts the day’s paid views. You earn the rate shown in the app for every 1,000 of them. A day runs from midnight to midnight UTC, so it may not match your own day exactly.
Earnings by day shows each day’s Paid views and what they earned.
Note: Earnings must come from real people watching. Ayyam can take back earnings from views that weren’t genuine.
Paid views aren’t the same as the plays in Insights, which count every watch of 3 seconds or more.
