You can still change your mind for 48 hours. 2 What happens when I delete my account? For 48 hours nothing changes and you can keep your account. Then you're signed out everywhere, and your profile, posts and everything that identifies you are deleted for good. 3 How do I cancel my account deletion? Within 48 hours, go to Settings → Account & profile and tap Keep my account. Nothing has been removed yet, so your account stays as it was.
