Explore is for finding new posts, outside your usual feed. In the app, it’s the Search tab before you type anything. On ayyam.com, it’s Explore in the menu.

Open Explore in the app
Tap Search, the last tab in the bar at the bottom. Before you type, it shows:
- a row of chips along the top: For you, then a few topics of the day
- popular hashtags right now
- a grid of posts
Tap a topic chip to see only that topic’s posts. For you brings back the mix.
Open Explore on the website
On ayyam.com, click Explore in the menu. Along the top are For you and a row of topics, and under them a grid of posts. Click a topic to see only its posts.
Where the posts come from
- In the app, For you starts with recent public posts from the last seven days that haven’t been seen much yet, so new posts get a chance. Popular posts follow. On the website, For you mixes the posts of the topics along the top.
- The topics are the ones you’re into. When Ayyam doesn’t know yet, it picks a set for the day, the same all day and different tomorrow.
- Only public posts show, and never from people you’ve blocked or who’ve blocked you.
Good to know
- The grid is refreshed once a day, so a post shared a few minutes ago may not be there yet.
- Follow a topic you like and its posts also come to your For you feed.
