Tap ⋯ on the post. Depending on why the post is there, the menu offers Not interested, Show less of a topic, or Show less from a person. The post disappears, and For you shows less like it from your next visit.

Turn it down

  1. Tap ⋯ on the post.
  2. Tap the row the menu offers:
    • Show less of and a topic, when the topic is why you’re seeing it. You’ll see about half as much of it.
    • Show less from and a name, when it’s from someone you often watch but don’t follow. You’ll see about half as much from them.
    • Not interested, for anything else. The post’s topics are turned down.
  3. A message tells you what changed, like You’ll see less of and the topic.

Posts already on your screen stay. The change shows from the next time For you loads.

Undo it

Go to Settings → Wellbeing → Your interests. People you turned down are under Creators you see less of: tap one to see them as usual again. Topics you turned down show under What you’re into, where you can turn them back up and tap Save.

Posts from people you follow

When a post is there because you follow its author, the menu has no Not interested. Use Mute to stop seeing their posts, or Unfollow.

Good to know

  • To stop seeing posts with certain words, add them under Words to see less of in Your interests. See How do I see fewer posts with certain words?
  • Hide this post takes away one post without changing anything else.
  • The website doesn’t have these options yet.
