In the chat, tap the picture at the start of the message box and pick a photo from your library. It sends as soon as you pick it, so there’s no second step.
Send a photo
- Open the chat.
- Tap the picture next to Message….
- Pick a photo. It goes straight away, and shows its progress while it uploads.
Tap a photo in the chat to see it full screen.
Good to know
- One photo at a time, with no caption. To say something about it, send a message after it.
- Photos only. Videos can’t be sent in a chat yet.
- A photo can be up to 25 MB.
- The app has no camera button in chats. Take the photo with your phone’s camera first, then send it from your library.
- Photos you send in chats don’t go into your Uploads.
- If a photo doesn’t go, it says Not sent under it.
- The website can’t send photos yet. A photo sent from the app shows there as the word Photo.
