Tap Like under a post to like it. For a different reaction, press and hold Like and pick one of the five faces. You can also double-tap a photo or video to react with Love.

React to a post in the app
- Under the post, tap Like.
- For another reaction, press and hold Like instead. Five faces open above it.
- Tap one: Like, Love, Haha, Sad or Angry.
The button then wears your reaction, in its colour, so you can see at a glance what you left.
React to a post on the website
- Point at the like button under the post. After a moment, five faces open above it.
- Click one: Like, Love, Haha, Angry or Sad.
Clicking the button itself likes the post. On a phone or tablet, press and hold it to see the faces.
Double-tap to react with Love
In the app, double-tap a photo or video in your feed and a heart bursts over it. That’s a Love reaction. Double-tapping again keeps your Love: to take it off, tap the reaction button under the post.
In Videos
Tap the heart on the right to react with Love. For the other faces, tap the video to pause it. The five show up under it. Pick one and the video plays on.
Change or take back a reaction
- You have one reaction per post. Picking another face replaces the one you left.
- To take it back, tap the button again. On the website, click it.
Good to know
- The person who posted gets a notification.
- Posts you react to collect in the Reactions tab on your profile. Other people can open it unless you turn off People can see my reactions in Settings → Privacy.
- If the person who posted hid the like counts, you see You reacted where the number would be.
