Open your sound’s page and tap Rename under its name. Write the new name and tap Save. The name shows on every post that uses your sound, not only yours.

Rename your sound

  1. Open your video and tap the sound’s name on it.
  2. On the sound’s page, tap Rename under the name.
  3. Name your sound opens. Write a name, up to 60 characters.
  4. Tap Save.

Go back to the automatic name

Rename it again and clear the box, then tap Save. A sound with no name of its own shows a name made from what the video is about, or Original sound when there isn’t one.

Good to know

  • Only the person who posted the video can rename its sound, and only while the video is still up.
  • Only a post with one video has a sound to rename.
  • If the name has a word that isn’t allowed, the app says That name has a word that isn’t allowed on Ayyam.
  • The website can’t rename sounds yet.
