Reset my choices takes away what you changed by hand and keeps what Ayyam learned from you. Start fresh forgets both, so For you starts like a new account. Both buttons are at the bottom of Your interests, and neither can be undone.
What each one removes
| Reset my choices | Start fresh | |
|---|---|---|
| What Ayyam learned from what you liked and watched | Kept | Forgotten |
| Subjects you turned up or down, and topics you added | Removed | Removed |
| Anything marked Not interested | Removed | Removed |
| Words to see less of | Removed | Removed |
| Creators you see less of | Removed | Removed |
| People, hashtags and topics you follow | Kept | Kept |
Which one to use
- For you looked right before you started changing things: Reset my choices. It goes back to what Ayyam learned on its own.
- For you keeps showing you things you’re no longer into: Start fresh.
Before you tap
Each one asks first, then works straight away. There’s no Save to tap afterwards.
A greyed-out button has nothing to remove. Reset my choices stays grey until you’ve changed something, and Start fresh until Ayyam has learned something or you have.
