On someone’s profile, your mutual followers are the people you follow who also follow them. Up to three of their pictures show under the bio, beside a line such as Followed by sara, omar + 4 others.

See all of them

  1. Open someone’s profile.
  2. Tap the Followed by line under the bio.

Their followers screen opens on its third tab, which counts your mutuals, like 6 mutuals. The search box at the top looks through the list.

When you see them

  • Only when you have at least one in common. With none, there’s no line and no tab.
  • Never on your own profile.
  • On a private account too, before it has accepted you. You still can’t open the rest of its followers.
  • Not on someone you’ve blocked, or who has blocked you.

The list depends on who you follow. Two people looking at the same profile see different mutuals.

Not the same as “People you follow back”

People you follow back, in Settings → Privacy, is about you and one other person: someone who follows you and whom you follow too. Mutual followers are the people you and someone else have in common.

On ayyam.com, profiles show the same Followed by line, with no pictures, and it doesn’t open a list. People to follow says how many each person has, like 2 mutuals.
