Open your Followers list, tap ⋯ next to the person, and tap Remove. They stop following you straight away, and Ayyam doesn’t tell them.

Remove a follower in the app
- Open your profile and tap the Followers count.
- Tap ⋯ next to the person.
- The app asks Remove and their name from your followers? Tap Remove.
Removed from your followers tells you it worked.
Remove a follower on the website
- Open your profile and click Followers.
- Click Remove next to the person.
- The website asks the same question. Click Remove.
The ⋯ is only on your own Followers list. On your own Following list, it’s Unfollow instead.
What changes for them
- They’re no longer one of your followers, and your Followers count goes down by one.
- If your account is private, they lose your followers-only posts and stories. To see them again they have to send a new request, and you decide whether to accept it.
- If your account is public, they can follow you again whenever they like. To stop that, block them.
- Nothing changes on your side: if you follow them, you still do.
A request that’s still waiting isn’t a follower yet. Delete it from Requests instead.
