Open your story and tap the bar at the bottom, the one with the number of viewers. A sheet opens with three tabs: Replies, Reactions and Viewers. Only you can see who watched. Replies lists the public replies, which anyone watching can read too.
See who watched
- On Home, tap Your story, the first card in the stories row.
- Tap the right side of the screen to reach the story you want.
- Tap the bar at the bottom.
- Tap Viewers.
Each person shows with how long ago they watched, and the reaction they gave, if any. The number at the top of the sheet counts everyone, and next to it are the two reactions you got most.
What counts as a view
- A story counts as watched once it has been on someone’s screen for a second. Someone who taps past it faster isn’t counted.
- Each person counts once, however often they watch.
- Opening your story from Universe counts too.
- Your own views don’t count.
Good to know
- The list is there for 24 hours, while the story is up. A pinned story keeps its number of views after that, but not the list.
- It works the other way too: when you watch someone’s story, you’re in their list.
- The website doesn’t show who viewed your story. Use the app.
