Go to Settings → Circles, tap New circle and give it a name. Then tap Add people and pick them from your followers. Nobody is told they’ve been added.
Create a circle
- On Home, tap your profile picture at the top to open Settings.
- Tap Circles, then New circle.
- Type a name and tap Save. A name can be up to 50 characters, and only you see it.
The new circle opens, with nobody in it yet.
Add people
- In the circle, tap Add people.
- Tap Add next to each person you want. It changes to Added.
Only your followers are listed, because only they can be in a circle. To find someone, type their name in Search your followers.
Remove someone, rename or delete
- To take someone out, tap Remove next to them, then Remove again.
- To change the name, tap Rename at the top.
- To delete the circle, tap Delete circle at the bottom, then Delete. Posts you shared with it can then only be seen by you.
Good to know
- You can have 10 circles. With 10, Circles says You have reached the maximum of 10 circles. Delete one to make room.
- Someone who stopped following you shows No longer follows you instead of their username, and the top of the circle counts how many have left.
- You can also make a circle while posting: on New post, tap Audience, then Circle, then New circle. It starts empty, so add people to it in Settings → Circles before you share, or nobody will see the post.
- The website can’t make or change circles, but it can post to the ones you have.
