Go to Settings → Privacy and turn on My account is private. Everyone who follows you now keeps following you. Anyone else who taps Follow sends you a request, and sees your posts only after you confirm it.

Make your account private in the app
- On Home, tap your profile picture at the top to open Settings.
- Tap Privacy.
- Turn on My account is private.
Back in Settings, the Privacy row now says Private.
Make your account private on the website
- Open Settings on ayyam.com and click Privacy.
- Turn on Private account.
It works straight away. Your followers aren’t told.
Make it public again
Turn the same switch off. From then on, people who tap Follow follow you at once.
If follow requests are waiting, Ayyam asks Accept your follow requests? first. Accept all lets everyone waiting follow you. Keep them leaves the requests under Requests on your profile, to confirm or delete one by one. Either way, your account goes public.
