In Settings → Security, under Where you’re logged in, tap End next to a device to sign it out. To sign out every device except the one in your hand, tap Sign out everywhere.
Sign out one device
End one device in the app
- On Home, tap your profile picture at the top to open Settings, then tap Security.
- Under Where you’re logged in, tap End next to the device.
- Tap End session to confirm.
End one device on the website
Open Settings on ayyam.com, click Security, and click Sign out next to the device under Where you are signed in. It happens straight away, without asking.
The device leaves your list at once. It can’t renew its sign-in, so it’s signed out within 15 minutes at the most.
Sign out everywhere
Sign out everywhere in the app
- In Settings → Security, tap Sign out everywhere at the bottom of the device list.
- Tap Sign out everywhere again to confirm.
Every other phone and browser is signed out within seconds. The phone you’re using stays signed in.
Sign out everywhere on the website
In Settings → Security, click Sign out everywhere. On the website this signs out every device, the browser you’re using too, and takes you to the sign-in page. It doesn’t ask first.
If someone else may have your password
Signing a device out doesn’t stop it signing in again with your password. Change your password as well: that signs out every other device too, and the old password stops working.
Good to know
- Signed-out devices stop getting notifications for your account.
- Nothing on your account is deleted. Posts, messages and settings are all there when you sign in again.
- Drafts stay on the phone they were made on, even after it’s signed out.
