Tap Create and switch to UPLOADS at the bottom of the screen. Your uploads are there, ready to go into a new post without being uploaded again.
From the Create screen
- Tap Create, the middle icon in the bar at the bottom.
- Tap UPLOADS at the bottom.
- Pick one or more photos or videos. All, Images and Videos at the top filter them.
- Tap Next and carry on as with any post.
A video that’s still processing is faded and can’t be picked yet. Uploads that failed aren’t shown.
From your uploads
- Open Settings and tap Uploads, under Content.
- Tap the photo or video.
- Tap Use in a post, or Add to story to make a story with it.
Add to story opens the story editor. Nothing is shared until you share it from there.
On the website
In the new post window, click Uploads library and choose what you want.
Photos can be edited, videos can’t
- A photo from your uploads opens in the editor like any other. If you change it, the edited photo goes up as a new item in your uploads, and the original stays as it was.
- A video goes straight to New post. It can’t be trimmed, filtered or given a sound again. If you try, the app says Clip 1 is already in your uploads, and an uploaded clip cannot be edited yet. Post it as it is, or pick the original from your library.
To edit a video again, pick the original from your phone’s library instead, under LIBRARY.
