The cover is the picture people see before your video plays, in feeds and on your profile. Choose it on Clip settings, under COVER, from six frames of the part you kept. If you don’t choose one, Ayyam picks a frame for you.

Choose the cover

  1. Open the video in the editor. It opens on Trim.
  2. Tap Next, or tap Cover in the row of tools. Clip settings opens.
  3. Scroll down to COVER and tap a frame. The one you chose stands taller than the others, with a ring around it.
  4. Tap Next, then Done.

Good to know

  • The six frames are spread evenly across the part you keep, so trim the video first.
  • You can’t pick a moment between them, or use a photo as the cover.
  • The cover can’t be changed once the video is posted.
  • On the website, Ayyam always picks the cover.
