Ayyam was rebuilt from scratch. Your account came across to the new app, but your password didn’t. That’s why your old password gets That email or password is not right. even when you type it exactly.
Your posts, your followers and the people you follow came across too. Anything you posted or changed on the old app after 26 September 2026 didn’t. If you made your account after that date, it isn’t in the new app, so create a new account.
To get in, set a new password using the email address or phone number you had on the old Ayyam.
Set a new password
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password?
- Enter the email address or phone number from your old account, then tap Send code.
- Enter the 6-digit code. An email address gets it by email. A phone number gets it on WhatsApp.
- Type a new password twice. It needs at least 8 characters.
- Tap Reset password, then Go to sign in, and sign in with the new password.
The sign-in screen says the same thing under the password field: Used Ayyam before? Choose Forgot password to set a new one.
If you joined with your phone number
Type the number the way you dial it inside your country. A flag and a calling code appear at the start of the field. Make sure that’s your country, and tap it to pick another if it isn’t.
The country matters more than it seems. The old Ayyam saved many numbers without a country code, so the country you pick is how we find your account. You can also skip the country and type the number in full, starting with + and the country code.
The code comes on WhatsApp, so WhatsApp has to be set up on that number.
If you used Google or Apple
On iPhone, tap Google or Apple under Or Continue with and choose the same account you used before. You won’t need a password.
Those buttons aren’t on Android yet. On Android, tap Forgot Password? and enter the email address of your Google or Apple account. You’ll set a password and use it from then on.
If no code arrives
The reset screen always says a code is on its way, even when nothing matches what you typed. That’s on purpose: otherwise anyone could use it to check who has an Ayyam account. So if nothing arrives within a few minutes:
- Try the other one. If you entered an email, try your phone number, or the other way round.
- Look in your spam or junk folder.
- Read I didn’t get my code for the rest.
Signing in on the website
Your new password works on ayyam.com too, with your email address. Signing in with a phone number isn’t on the website yet.
