Every photo and video goes through an automatic check before a post goes up. When the check thinks one of them might break the rules, the post waits as In review until someone at Ayyam looks at it. Until then, only you can see it, on your profile.
What the check looks for
It stops pictures that might show nudity or sex, violence, something disturbing, or hate symbols. It’s a machine and it can be wrong, which is why a person makes the decision.
What happens next
- If the post is approved, it goes up by itself. You don’t need to do anything.
- If it isn’t, it shows Not approved and won’t go up.
- There’s no set time for a review, and nothing you can do to make it faster.
Where you see it
- The card on Home says In review, with We’ll post it once it’s approved. Until then, only you can see it, on your profile. Tap OK to close the card. The post keeps waiting.
- On your profile, its tile says In review. Tap it to read what that means, or to delete the post.
Good to know
- One stopped photo holds up the whole post, even if the rest are fine.
- To post the others now, delete it and post them again without that photo. The app doesn’t say which one was stopped.
- Nobody else sees a post while it’s in review. It isn’t in anyone’s feed.
